Agnes Janette Minyard, 83, of Oviedo, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 1st.

Agnes was raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She was a loving mother who raised four children including two with special needs. She, along with her husband Edmund Dale Minyard, spent the bulk of their years in Titusville, Fl where they both worked at the Kennedy Space Center while raising a family. She was a longtime member of Westside Church of God in Titusville.

Agnes was preceded in death by her father and mother, Leonard and Ines Baker, sister Teen Jordan, husband Edmund Minyard, and daughter Linda Minyard. She is survived by brothers Curtis Baker and his wife Shirley, Bert Baker and his wife Katherine; sister Billie Shannon Harcum; children Debbie Minyard, Steven Minyard, Brian Minyard and his wife Melissa; grandchildren Patricia Johnson and her wife Erika, Catherine Minyard, Edina Minyard; great-grandchildren, Kyle Johnson and his wife Stephanie, Kaitlyn Johnson, Finn Johnson; great-great-grandchildren Kyle Johnson Jr, Eli Johnson, and Luke Johnson.

Arrangements are being handled by Berryhill Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama where the family will receive friends from 11am to 1pm on Saturday January 9th. Funeral services will follow at 2pm graveside at Neal’s Chapel Cemetery in Owens Cross Roads, with Howard Johnson and Bert Baker officiating. For those not able to attend due to COVID restrictions or concerns, the graveside service will be streamed on Facebook and Zoom.
